4.31 An Atmosphere of Worship

To profane is to violate. When there is no distinction between the things meant to be set apart as holy for the Lord, it diminishes our worship. Instead, we offer up the things of God to be devoured by the lust of the flesh, the word, and the enemy. We are called as Christians to be holy as God is holy. Marriage is holy. How we raise these little ones is our reasonable service to the Lord. Creating an atmosphere of worship is a heart posture. It is reverence for God as Holy and a heart posture of worship.

4.30 Hearts on Fire

A heart on fire begins with the Gospel message. The Spirit of God is a promise for the believer. It gives us a fervor for the things of God and ignites a sense of urgency in us to be about the Father's business. The business of God is doing the will of God. That means seeking first the Kingdom of Heaven and His righteousness. The good news of the Gospel begins with our personal walk with the Lord. It then branches out to affect God-honoring change in our marriage, household, and within the ministries He has given us stewardship over. These precious gifts can not be neglected; otherwise, we labor in vain.

3.29 Who's in Your Camp?

Periodic examinations of your life include holding up your relationships to the light of Christ. The people in your life who are genuinely excited to see you mature in Christ, want your marriage to succeed, encourage healthy familial bonds, and challenge you in your ministry growth are what AC calls "the camp." Know who's in your camp as God moves in your life, family, home, and ministry. Understand how we suffer losses when there is trouble in the camp. Have the courage to respond in faith as the Lord leads.

3.28 The Queen's Conduct

How we view and respect the men in our lives is a testament to how we value God's design for marriage, family, and how a society should function. AC makes the real-life contrast between the biblical narrative of two queens in the Book of Esther. There is nothing new under the sun. The cautionary tale of one queen who used her position to spread contempt and anger toward the governing authority and her husband is worth retelling. Our conduct as women and queens of our home can be the instrument God uses to preserve a nation, or we can tear it down with our own hands (Proverbs 14:1)

3.27 Hearing From God

When our hearts grow dull, our ears and eyes follow. Despite our ability to hear, we barely hear from God. Regardless of our ability to see, we are blinded to the Truth. We block ourselves from much-needed healing for our bodies, refreshment for our bones, wisdom for daily living, and ultimately salvation for our souls. AC breaks down what it means to hear from the Lord, what separates us from hearing from God, and highlights how to attune our hearts and ears to hear from the Lord.

3.26 It's Presenting

In this day and age, we're conditioned to present as "fine" & "ok" while hiding and ignoring what's making us sick. We are deceived if we believe our standing with God and the condition of the family unit, our country, culture, and communities are "okay."  The truth is, we are not okay, and those who are healthy do not need a physician. We are sick spiritually, and it's presenting outwardly. The good news is the Master Physician has given us the cure. We must fill the prescription, follow the instructions, and apply the solution daily!

3.25 Origin Story

We miss mission-critical parenting moments when the smoke screen of temper tantrums, attitudes, and sass deter us from actually teaching and training our children in righteousness. If the foolishness bound up in our children is not driven out of them, it manifests later in life as they wander. They wander away from God's origin story, our purpose, and His plan for us when we don't capitalize on the opportunities to parent and teach at those mission-critical moments. AC explains how she uses her God-given gifts and talents to redirect her children's negative behavior and choices and allows the truth of God's Word to encourage her along this parenting journey.

3.24 If I Were The Enemy

The attack on the family is wreaking havoc in this generation. We can not build strong families if we don't know the character of God, who we are in Christ, the schemes of the enemy to destroy the family unit, and the weapons of our warfare. AC tangibly walks through what the enemy is doing to dismantle our faith in a good and loving God who desires to restore us back to Himself, heal the brokenness in marriage and family,  and ultimately use our testimony to glorify Him along our journey.

3.23 Prep The Soil

Teaching and training children at home involves helping them discover their giftedness and tending the soil of their hearts. We are essentially preparing them for the harsh realities of this fallen and broken world and to be open and ready to receive the message of the gospel. The goal is for our children to go out into the world, use the gifts and talents God has blessed them with to bring Him glory, and bear good fruit. Getting in tune with your children's unique quirks and modeling openness to the gospel message are tangible ways we lead our children and set them on God-honoring paths.

3.22 Generational Curses

Understanding the root of generational curses and how they wreck the family legacy should be an immediate priority to know, uproot, and purge in our lifetime.  As followers of Christ, we have to do the work to discover the source of dysfunction and heal what's broken in our family. How we choose to live and function in marriage and what we teach our children is our testimony.  We are witnesses to how God desires to work in and through our family and give future generations a better inheritance.
