3.21 Boring Boundaries

Obeying God's Law and direction for our lives, home, and family are the boundaries God has established to rescue us from the power of sin, protect us from folly, preserve us, and bless us. In a culture that views boundaries as unnecessary and boring, believers are called to be set apart for His glory, intimately familiar with "boring boundaries," and be thankful for how He loves and cares for us.
 

3.20 Wandering Eyes

AC is back for season three of ACv Family Talk!! She's kicking off the season premiere on the topic of wandering eyes. When we lose focus on God's design for our lives, marriage, family, and home life, we can easily find ourselves aimlessly WANDERING. Then we WONDER how {pineapple!} we get caught up in the sin that so easily entangles us.

2.19 The Wise Wife

A wise woman builds her house, but a foolish woman can tear it down with her own hands. In this season finale of ACv Family Talk, AC only has pearls by discussing the attributes of a wise wife through the lens of the wise and beautiful Abigail in 1 Samuel chapter 25.

2.18 Complementarianism

Children thrive when we, as parents, set a healthy tone for the day and there is a rhythm in their activities. Similarly, adults thrive when we understand our purpose and the rhythm of our lives runs smoothly. God has so uniquely gifted and wired us to complement each other within community and in our relationships. AC offers a fresh perspective on making more intentional decisions to submit to God’s design for life, family, and ministry.

2.17 The World Is Watching

The court of public option is nothing compared to the little eyes and ears at home. Children take their cues on how to communicate and what is appropriate adult behavior from what is modeled at home. AC offers a helpful perspective on how she intentionally capitalizes on the exposure of her children's ever-watchful eyes and ears at home.

2.16 Faith & Doubt

God has called us to practice what is true. It begins with being honest about who we are in relation to the knowledge of who God is. We can not walk in truth or prepare our children for the realities of this fallen world if we, as parents, are submitted to and walking in a faithless and doubtful posture.

2.15 How Women Make Their Mark

On the topic of making an impact in today's culture, AC shares what she has learned about the power of influence and how she chooses to use the works of her hands to make the greatest impact in her life, family, and the people that God brings into her sphere of influence.

2.14 Detox

Episode 14 is a continuation of the previous episode on isolation. The actions we take before and during what AC calls the mental health storms determine how favorable the outcome will be. Depression and anxiety were storms that are now testimonies that AC is eager to share to inspire and encourage others.

2.13 Isolation

Physical and mental isolation can often appear as though we've been abandoned or perhaps trigger feelings of regression to a season when we were not the best versions of ourselves. AC recounts two occasions of mental and physical isolation that God used as a reminder to rest, revealing its benefits and the protection that isolation can offer.

2.12 God’s Economy

We cannot serve God and mammon. Understanding for ourselves and teaching our children about God’s economy is Economic 101 for the believer. God’s perspective on wealth, debt, wages, earnings, taxes, and forgiveness is crucial to knowing who really sustains us.
