2.9 Consumers and Producers

Back for a brand new season of the ACv Family Talk podcast, Season 2 kicks off with a fresh message on the importance of cultivating more of a producer mindset that yields good fruit in its season vs. fruitless and enslaved patterns of consumer-based living. There is a comparison and contrast throughout Scripture that God wants to teach His children to strengthen us and for us to be able to take hold of the blessings He’s prepared for us.

1.8 Ministry At Home

AC wraps up season one of the ACv Family Talk podcast with a special focus on her ministry at home as a wife, mother, and home educator. Topics include how AC's ministry began at 19 years of age, the complementary design of men and women in marriage, and learning what it takes to grow and sustain a ministry at home organically.

AC recaps how God’s people failed to take hold of an inheritance He’s promised those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. She makes a modern-day application of how marriages and the family unit fall into generational patterns of rebellion and brokenness. We fail to recognize patterns of dysfunction, and subsequently, we are unable to choose differently. It all circles back to a choice; be enslaved to generational dysfunction or be chain breakers.

AC highlights the top four relationships she prioritizes to maintain a healthy level of transparency and the importance of using it as a gauge for other relationships. Clarity and clear purpose in our core relationships help us live more authentically, serve more than consume, and allow us to have sustainable peace in our spirit.

Our children are constantly communicating their likes and interests. We as parents often neglect to get in tune with how they are naturally wired and focus on nurturing the gifts God has already put inside of them. This episode focuses on studying children so we, as parents, can better guide them toward God’s purpose for their lives.
